Feldman's Digital Transfer Services transfers video tapes in real time to insure almost 100% of the quality of your movies. Unlike most video conversion companies we do not use high speed transfer machines which lose approximately 20% of the original quality. A two hour VHS video tape transfer will take more than three hours to create one DVD. This is the proper way to insure the highest quality for your home movies to be transferred.

Videotapes are used to record images and sound onto magnetic tape as opposed to movie film. Videotapes are used in video tape recorders (VTRs), video cassette recorders (VCRs) and video cameras. The older video tapes were recorded in a linear or analog method of storing information as compared to the digital format of today's cameras. The older video tapes have a short life span and should be converted as soon as possible to DVD. The VHS, VHS-C, BETA and U-Matic video tapes are susceptible to stretching, breaking, sticking together and the overall deterioration of its video quality.
